PowerStrip/PSSetup and PowerStrip/PSOCX are two different versions of the ActiveX installer control used to install the toolbar and commission hijacker. Installed by ActiveX drive-by downloads in pop-up advertisements. Can download and install arbitrary unsigned code, as an update mechanism. |
